It was quite characteristic of Richard Henry Little,that became a legend and then, through his column in the Chicago Tribune, the personal friend of the thousands who read it each morning. Stories of his wit, his humor, and his kindliness had drifted up and down, the world for fifteen years. The inistials R.H.L. appeared at the bottom of A LINE O' TYPE OR TWO.THE LINEBOOK containing as many of the best paragraphs and contributions, from R.H.L.'S column as could be gathered into its sixty-four pages has been published each year.
